»This voice belongs to the future,« was recently written about star tenor Jonathan Tetelman in the Salzburger Nachrichten. »Absolutely stunning, this man«, agreed the Hamburger Abendblatt after his Elbphilharmonie concert in July 2025. The singer who captures the hearts of audiences and critics around the globe now returns to the Hanseatic city with a Bel Canto evening:

Italian longing, German intimacy, French passion – with opera hits and international love songs by Bizet, Wagner, Tosti, Cilea, Cardillo, Leoncavallo, and others, Tetelman aims to enchant his Hamburg audience once again.

Following her great success with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl, the young German-Colombian conductor Anna Handler now makes her Elbphilharmonie debut at the podium of the Enigma Classica ensemble – and at the piano. Alongside Tetelman’s beguiling vocals, Handler brings other symphonic delights by Mozart, Haydn, Mascagni and Tschaikowsky – an evening between song and sound.
