ABOUT THE CONCERT

Jonathan Tetelman, one of the most sought-after tenors of his generation internationally, will be performing at Die Glocke concert hall with the Klassische Philharmonie Nordwest. The orchestra is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

This festive concert blends grand opera with a Christmas atmosphere and southern passion. The audience can look forward to select highlights such as Schubert's "Ave Maria," the spirited "Granada," and Puccini's world-famous aria "Nessun dorma." A musical journey that ranges from quiet, touching moments to moments of great vocal and orchestral brilliance.

Born in Chile and raised in the USA, Jonathan Tetelman is one of the most outstanding voices on the international opera scene. He regularly performs at the world's leading opera houses, including the Vienna State Opera, the Bavarian State Opera, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, and the Royal Opera House in London, as well as at the Salzburg Festival. As an exclusive artist with Deutsche Grammophon, he captivates audiences and critics alike with a voice that combines powerful radiance, lyrical warmth, and exceptional elegance. His debut album, "Arias," was awarded the OPUS KLASSIK prize for Young Artist of the Year in 2023.
