His aria recital at the beginning of June was sold out months in advance and was a sensational success, with audiences and the press unanimously enthusiastic: Tenor star Jonathan Tetelman "suffers, dreams, triumphs" (Süddeutsche Zeitung) "with a perfectly fitting voice" (Münchner Merkur). He met "highest expectations"—after all, he is "blessed with a rarely effortlessly responsive voice" (Abendzeitung). He is considered one of the most exciting young singers of our time, performing on the stages of prestigious venues with world-renowned orchestras and demonstrating his talent in a "dark-toned tenor timbre" (Süddeutsche Zeitung). 

Born in Chile and raised in New Jersey, the exclusive Deutsche Grammophon artistpromptly received the Opus Klassik 2023 Award in the "Young Artist of the Year" category for his debut album of Verdi and Verismo arias. In short, the classical music world is clamoring for Jonathan Tetelman. 

So it's a stroke of luck that Jonathan Tetelman will be returning to Munich very soon; a date was found at short notice. On Sunday afternoon of the third Sunday of Advent, he will once again be appearing with the Baden-Baden Philharmonic Orchestra : The Isar Philharmonic Orchestra's program includes opera arias by Verdi and Puccini, among others .
